Hello and welcome to my website.
I am Scotland's only dual qualified and registered live captioner and lipspeaker for deaf and hard-of-hearing people. Based in Edinburgh, I have 22 years of experience in providing comprehensive communication support services both nationally and internationally for a wide range of arts, performance and conference events.
I am also a Stagetext qualified Theatre Captioner, so equally comfortable captioning scripted, or semi-scripted performances and live/unscripted post-show talks and panel discussions. A level 6 BSL signer, I have experience of providing live captions for Deaf intralingual interpreters and also scripted captioning of theatrical performances featuring BSL, Scottish Gaelic and Spanish.

I have extensive experience of providing individual communication support in legal settings (first diets, interim diets and full trials) at all levels of the court system throughout Scotland. Education, medical and Access to Work bookings can also be accommodated, with lipspeaking, live captioning or a combination of both where needed.
